Ashwin Chandrasekar Meditation

Making time
to be still.

Meditation is part of my everyday life. As an Art of Living teacher, I also share the practices that have been useful to me.

Teaching an Art of Living program

As a certified teaching faculty of the Art of Living Foundation, I have organized and taught immersive programs to 500+ individuals. The work is focused on mind management — using the breath as a tool for leading a healthy life, through yoga, meditation, and interactive sessions.

For me, meditation is a way to pause and notice what’s going on before reacting. It’s a practice, with better days and more distracted ones. Teaching has helped me keep learning, too.

In the courses I teach, we spend time with breathing practices, yoga, meditation, and conversation. I enjoy making room for people to try these practices and see what they take from them.

Along the way, I've built a network of well-wishers — from students to CEOs of large companies. It's opened my eyes to how different people approach and manage their core life issues. I'm committed to making the world a little better by helping one individual at a time.

The Guide

With Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar

Founder of the Art of Living Foundation. His teachings on the breath, meditation, and service have shaped the way I think about everyday life — calmer, clearer, more useful to the people around me.

It's a privilege to carry even a small part of that work forward as a teaching faculty.

A Personal Exploration

Vedic Philosophy

I've been drawn to Indian Vedic philosophy for a while now. It's a deep tradition with ideas about consciousness, purpose, and the nature of reality that I find genuinely useful — not just as abstract concepts, but as ways to think about everyday decisions.

Coming Soon

I'm putting together my thoughts on topics like dharma, the Bhagavad Gita, meditation practices, and how ancient wisdom applies to modern life. This section will grow over time as I explore and articulate these ideas.

Topics I'll Explore

Dharma & Purpose

What it means to find your purpose and align your actions with it — lessons from the Vedic tradition.

The Bhagavad Gita

Practical wisdom from one of the most profound texts ever written — on duty, detachment, and right action.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Practices rooted in ancient traditions that help with focus, clarity, and being present.

Ancient Wisdom, Modern Life

How ideas that are thousands of years old remain relevant to the way we work, lead, and live today.
